The biblical story of the Tower of Babel speaks of man's desire to create a monument to himself and his accomplishments, using man-made, or rather, un-God made materials. With a nod to this ancient story, Bonaldo's Babel is a multiple-shelf bookcase created from man made materials in a testament to mastering new building technologies. Asymmetrical in its design, Babel creates slots and double fronted compartments within a towering trunk-like conical shape. With an architectural, even sculptural presence, Babel is a unique character made in polyethylene, and available in a range of modern colours.
