Modernica’s Split Rail series is based on the Parallel Bar Series, designed by Florence Knoll. The series was specifically designed originally for corporate clients such as IBM and CBS. Knoll began manufacturing the series in 1955 and ended its production in 1973. In 1999, Modernica reconfigured and reengineered the series to increase its durability and comfort — thus making this timeless classic easily available and affordable for the home or office.
