Africa House is a creation born from the fascinating murals that the Besotho South African tribe realize on the exterior of their homes. Women from this tribe decorate the walls of their homes with vegetables and flower ornaments, inventing wonderful decorative allegories. They are the expressions of the prayers to their ancestors, to whom they implore adequate rainfall, abundant sunshine, and peace for their people.

Each rug is intricately hand tufted, and embossed in three different colour palettes, and available in two sizes: 66"x93" and 78"x116".

Nani Marquina is a member of Care and Fair, a European organization that fights against illegal child labour in the manufacturing sector of hand knotted carpets.
