The Domus chair was designed in 1947 for the Domus Academica student housing complex, in Helsinki. The Domus chair was designed to be a true all-purpose chair to meet the diverse needs of the Domus Academica. It had to be comfortable for sitting, and it had to support the back. The chair requires little space and is stackable.

The Domus Upholstered Chair is constructed from a frame and armrests in solid birch. Available in a fully upholstered seat and back, or with upholstered seat and plywood back.
